Always a joyous experience listening to this. My Foolish Heart was the third tune of the Bill Evans Trio's first afternoon set at the Village Vanguard in New York that Sunday June 25th 1961. The trio played five sets altogether that Sunday. Interestingly, ironically, the first set opened with LaFaro's 'Gloria's Step' and the last set closed with his 'Jade Visions'.
